Hi, I’m Adam. I design handcrafted indoor ecosystems in Phoenix, Arizona.
I create terrariums and vivariums that bring nature indoors, helping people slow down and reconnect with the natural world.
A blend of nature and design
I’ve spent most of my career as a designer, building brands, apps, and websites. But I’ve always felt pulled toward nature.
What started as a hobby slowly evolved into a practice: building planted terrariums and vivariums that combine natural systems with thoughtful, intentional design.
I built my first vivarium as a teenager for a pair of dart frogs, and before long, I had a wall full of them. I was hooked. There’s something special about shaping an environment that feels alive, not just for plants, but for the animals that rely on them too.
Today, I take on custom commissions for people who want something unique. That might mean a small, mossy scape for a shelf or a fully planted habitat designed around the needs of a particular animal species.
Either way, it’s still the same quiet satisfaction: building something that brings a little more life into the room.
Thoughtful, natural, and made to last
Each piece is made by hand using natural materials. I select plants that are suited to the environment, and I don’t rush the process.
Whether it’s a mossy gift or a habitat for a dart frog, every build is designed to be both functional and beautiful.
I care deeply about the ecosystems I create. That means proper drainage, species-appropriate planting, and materials that support long-term health and stability.
It also means knowing when less is more, and letting nature do what it does best.
I’ve seen how a well-built terrarium or vivarium can spark curiosity, especially in kids and people living far from wild spaces.
If something I build can help someone slow down, look closer, or feel more connected to the natural world, I think that matters.
